0:31.6	Hi friends, welcome back to a year in the Bible. My name is Beth and I am here with my co-host, Alexa.
0:37.2	Hi, friends. So this week we have looked at Jonah 117 and Matthew 1240 and we have learned
0:42.3	that Jesus is the true and better Jonah. As we wrap up this week, we want to consider how we can
0:47.4	apply all the things that we've learned this week about Jesus to our daily lives. So Alexa,
0:52.2	how do you plan on applying what you've learned? Yeah, I've been really
0:55.6	challenged to speak when it comes to obedience to God. I think it's really easy to read Jonah and say,
1:01.8	Jonah, what are you doing when he runs away from God and the task that God has given him? But if I'm
1:07.1	honest, I can be like Jonah. I can be afraid of what God asks me to do.
1:11.3	And while I do eventually get there in terms of obedience, I do sometimes initially panic
1:16.2	and want to run away from what God wants.
1:18.9	And I do think at times I do run away.
1:21.6	We talked about this recently on the podcast, but I'm so prone to run away from opportunities
1:26.0	to talk about my faith.
1:27.5	When I get that nudge from the spirit to talk to someone or say something, there are times
1:32.2	where I've been like, nope, I'm not going to do it.
