0:31.1	Hey friends, welcome back to your in the Bible. My name is Alexa and I'm here with my co-host, Beth.
0:36.2	Hi, everyone. So this week, we have looked at Hosea 1, 2, through 3, as well as Hosea 3, 1 through 5.
0:43.2	And then we've also looked at Ephesians 5, 25 through 32.
0:46.5	And we have learned that God's faithfulness to his people is reflected through Christ by giving of himself for the church.
0:53.2	We want to end this week by talking about how we can apply all that we have learned this
0:57.1	week to our daily lives.
0:58.8	So, Alexa, how do you plan on applying these passages?
1:02.5	Yeah, I think my major application takeaway is to take seriously my union with Christ.
1:07.4	It's a gift to be united to Christ, to be in a relationship with him and to receive
1:12.4	the benefits of being in a relationship with him. And as a follower of Christ, I am to take that
1:17.8	relationship seriously by being faithful to Jesus, by honoring him with my life and worshiping him
1:23.5	alone. In Hosea, God brings Israel back to himself to restore their worship. And when we come
1:29.1	to faith in Christ, our worship to God is restored as well. But it's so easy to still turn from God
1:35.6	and pursue other loves. That is essentially what idolatry is, turning from God and looking to something
1:41.6	to give us what only God can give. And I know that I'm
