0:33.3	Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm joined by my co-, Beth. Hey, everyone. So this week, we have looked at
0:39.1	Isaiah 42, 6 through 7, Isaiah 496, and John 812. And we have learned that Jesus is God's
0:45.0	promised servant who brings light to the nations. So now we want to spend some time considering
0:49.6	how it is that we can apply what we've learned about Jesus this week to our everyday lives.
0:54.7	So, Alexa, how do you plan on applying these passages?
0:58.0	Yeah, you know, this week has reminded me of Matthew 5, 14 through 16, where Jesus says
1:03.2	about believers, you are the light of the world and to let your light shine before others
1:08.8	so that they may see your good works and give glory to your
1:11.9	father in heaven. We have such a special responsibility as believers to show the world our love for
1:18.7	Christ and to encourage others to come to know Christ by our actions. And so I really want to take
1:25.1	that responsibility seriously. That responsibility causes me to think about
1:30.1	my actions and to ask myself, am I acting in such a way that I'm being a light to others for the
1:36.2	gospel? Or am I acting in ways that are contrary to the gospel and that are actually leading people
1:42.3	away from Christ? The other day I had our porch light on and when I looked at our glass door, they were like
1:48.9	a ton of bugs all over it because they were drawn to the light.
