0:33.6	the Year in the Bible podcast. My name is Beth and I'm here again today with my co-host
0:38.0	Alexa. Hey friends, today we are going to spend some time discussing how we are planning on
0:43.7	applying what we learned about Jesus this week. Yeah, I think Fridays are shaping up to be my
0:48.7	favorite day of this study. It's just really cool to spend this time that's dedicated each week to
0:54.0	thinking about all that we've learned so far about Jesus and about Scripture and then how that knowledge will impact our actual lives.
1:01.5	Yeah, I know. I find myself growing just more and more excited about getting to Friday because I just can't wait to respond to what we see and learn about Jesus.
1:12.1	So, Beth, what stood out to you this week?
1:15.5	Yeah, there were two things in particular that stood out the most.
1:19.0	The first is how deserving Jesus is of our glory and our worship.
1:23.5	So as we learned about his nature as creator and redeemer as divine and human, it just really
1:30.6	challenged me to be more consistently thinking about ways that I can better worship and glorify
1:35.7	him. I think about lots of different ways that this can come into play in my life and like how I
1:40.2	parent my child or how I act as a wife to my husband or how I carry myself at work.
1:46.3	Like just it really challenged me to take seriously the encouragement in the Bible to do
1:52.3	everything that we do to the glory of God and the glory of Christ.
