0:39.7	into day two of week three where we're going to go deeper into the passage that we annotated yesterday,
0:45.6	as well as look at some of the surrounding verses. So today in our study, we were asked to read
0:50.7	all of Genesis 1. Yeah, and there's just so much so we could say about Genesis 1,
0:56.3	but to help us dive a little deeper into this chapter, we're going to spend a little bit
1:00.7	talking about where this Old Testament chapter falls in the biblical story and what we learn
1:05.4	about God from this passage. And that's actually what we're going to explore every Tuesday
1:09.6	on this season of the podcast.
1:11.8	So, Beth, why don't you tell us a little bit about the context of this passage?
1:15.4	Where are we in the biblical story?
1:17.9	Yeah, for this passage, this is a very easy answer.
1:21.7	We are at the very beginning.
1:23.4	Genesis 1-1 is the very beginning of the biblical story and the very beginning of the entire story of the world.
1:29.6	And so, yeah, this story is incredibly important for the rest of the biblical story.
