Hey everyone.

We are really excited to dive into week three of Christ and all of Scripture.

This week we are talking about the connection between Genesis 1 and Colossians 1.

And today we'll be talking about week three, day one's annotation day on Genesis 1-1 and 126 through 31. So, Beth, what did you think of today's annotation day? I really enjoyed annotating this passage. The fact that we are made in God's image is often

talked about and taken for granted in churches and in Bible studies and like, I don't know,

you hear about it all the time. So it was super nice to

actually slow down and spend time reading over this specific text and thinking about that

concept of being created and the image of God, particularly in the context of the whole creation

story. It was really cool. Yeah, there is just so much happening in the creation story that it's great to be able to

meditate on what God did in creating humans specifically.

I'm curious, though, did any of the annotation prompts stand out to you as particularly difficult?

Very, very good question.

Initially, the first prompt highlight any words or phrases that point to Christ.

It was very daunting.
