by talking about how we plan on applying these passages to our daily lives. So, Alexa, how do you plan to apply these passages? Yeah, I was both encouraged and challenged by the prompt and the application today today that asked,

and what areas in your life do you need to trust Christ's care and provision?

I'm generally an anxious person, and even though I feel like as of late, I'm not as anxious as I have been in past seasons.

Praise God. I still have anxious moments. And lately I found myself anxious when it comes to financial situations. And then in

situations where I feel like I have to do something outside of my comfort zone. When I'm anxious,

I often turn to something that helps to distract me to basically

like dissociate. So I have this habit in the car that if I'm anxious about my husband's driving,

I'll pull up Instagram and just start scrolling to try and not think about his driving. But I do

things like that where I will try to use my phone or TV or whatever it is to try and drown out my anxiety.

And while that can be helpful in a sense in the moment, it doesn't actually bring me lasting comfort.
