Welcome to a year in the Bible with Daily Grace.

0:03.0

This year, we want to spend a few minutes with you every day walking through our study Christ and all of Scripture.

0:09.0

Each week we will dive deeply into two passages of Scripture, one from the Old Testament and one from the New,

0:15.0

seeing how they connect and point to Jesus.

0:17.0

Whether you are doing the study yourself or just following along with us here, we are

0:21.7

hopeful that through studying these passages each week, you will see how Christ is not only present

0:26.6

throughout the entire biblical story, but the center of it. Hey friends, welcome back to You're in the

0:33.6

Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm joined by my co-host, Beth. Hey, everyone. So far this week,

0:39.4

we have looked at the Old Testament, specifically Ruth 4, 14, and 15. And so now we're going to be

0:45.0

turning to the New Testament and look at John 1010. So today we're going to discuss the annotations

0:51.1

annotation day go for you? It was both good and interesting. Good because I think this is such an

1:10.2

encouraging verse, but also interesting because

1:12.8

it's so short. Because it was so short, I found that some of the prompts were a little tricky,

1:18.7

one in particular being to know any attributes of God in the text. So after giving it some thought,

1:25.0

I know that John 1010 is Jesus's words. So Jesus's words of,

1:30.0

I have come remind me that God is the one who sent Jesus and specifically sent us Jesus to give us

1:37.3

life, which then reminded me of John 316 that says that God is to love the world that he gave us

1:43.6

Jesus so that we would have

1:45.4

eternal life. So I think the fact that Jesus has come and it's God who made it possible

1:50.8

for Jesus to come shows us God's love for us and also His grace to give us life in Him.
