Hey, friends, today we'll be discussing the annotation day on Deuteronomy 6, 4 through 5.

passage yeah so this is a really short and really familiar passage so i thought it was really good

So I think it's especially helpful to think about how this passage points to Christ.

It can often be really confusing to read about God in the Old Testament, especially

verses like this that show us that God is one God and then be introduced to Jesus in the New Testament and be told that he is also God.

So next to the word one in verse four, I wrote down these quotes that I remembered from the New Testament that Jesus says, where he says in John 1030, I and the Father are one.
