0:32.7	Bible. My name is Alexa and I'm here with my co-host Beth. Hey, everyone, today we are going to be talking about how we plan to apply Numbers 21, 4 through 9, and John 3, 14 through 16.
0:43.7	So, Alexa, how do you plan on applying these passages this week?
0:47.8	Yeah, I mentioned yesterday how Jesus gave us his forgiveness.
0:51.4	And so even when we mess up and sin, we have God's forgiveness instead of his
0:56.0	judgment. But you know, that doesn't mean that we are to just go on living our lives however we
1:00.8	please because we have God's forgiveness. I really appreciated the first application question from
1:05.9	today's study that asks us to consider how we are often like the Israelites when life becomes hard and when
1:11.5	the times are that we grumble against God. I feel like I tend to grumble when life gets hard
1:16.6	in any kind of way, which is kind of embarrassing to admit, but it's true. And I think I most often
1:22.5	grumble against God when I feel like he has let me down in some sort of way, like when he doesn't answer a
1:29.2	specific prayer in the same way that I want him to, or when I feel like things in life are good
1:34.3	and then something hard happens, I can essentially be like, God, why did you allow that?
1:39.8	As if my life is meant to be devoid of hardships and those hardships are God's fault.
1:45.1	Thinking about all of that challenges me to still trust and believe that God is good, even when
1:50.8	life gets hard. Because just as God was taking care of the Israelites, so is he taking care of me.
