be making the Christ connection between Leviticus 16, 20 through 22 and Hebrews 924 through 26.

So, Beth, what are some connections we see between these two passages? Yeah, there are so many

fun connections here between the Old and New Testaments. And this is true for the entire book of Hebrews. But in this particular passage, we see that Jesus is performing the Day of

Atonement rituals that we read about in Leviticus 16 on behalf of all of our sins. So we see first

that he acts as the priest, the high priest who goes into the inner sanctuary and the Holy of

Holies and brings the blood of the sacrifice. who goes into the inner sanctuary and the Holy of Holies and brings

the blood of the sacrifice. Jesus himself is doing that whenever he goes into the heavenly

places. But we also see that he himself is the sacrifice. And so the priest is bringing blood

of animals, of goats and rams and bowls, but Jesus is bringing his blood, his perfect and holy and true

blood. That covers all of our sense. And so I think what is written in the Christ and all
