Michael Ian Black, yes, returned at long last after our four-year Savannah sojourn to the wilds of Connecticut.

I hadn't mentioned that we were returning to Connecticut because it all happened rather quickly,

and it was sort of a surprise even to me, and even though I now find

myself residing once again in these spectral woods, different town, by the way, than my

previous town of Reading, Connecticut. It is a very familiar scene here, although I will say,

in my new locale, which is, oh, I don't know, maybe 45 minutes or an hour from my old locale, but it is even more picturesque.

This house we bought, well, maybe I should go back a little bit and tell you the whole story because I'll tell it very quickly because, hey, we've got a book to get to,

but Martha had been keeping an eye on this house for months, months when we were in Savannah.

And I think I was the one who first spotted it on Zillow.

You know, we never intended on making Savannah our permanent home.

We thought, well, maybe five years, maybe 10 years, and who knows. And so there was

always this thought that, like, you know, maybe in a few years, we'll go somewhere else. As you know,

we were thinking about moving to Europe. We didn't do that. We were thinking about maybe settling in

the Minneapolis region where she's from. We didn't do that. But something about Connecticut was just calling us home,

and we'd been keeping our eye on this house for a couple months. And then when we went to the Poconos this

summer, as you recall, Martha said, fella, and she was talking to me, she said, fella, I'm going to go look
