Hello everyone and welcome back to Truth and Justice. This is the finale episode for a six-part mini-series

on the George Powell case out of Kaleen, Texas. Like I mentioned at the beginning of the season,

this was not going to be our typical endeavor. George Powell was already represented by attorneys and

was in the middle of his habeas procedures when we took on his case. We began a reporting on the

George Powell case based on a request directly from Michael Ware of the Innocence Project of Texas.

While on a practical level, George's case of actual innocence seems like a simple one,

but the reality is he still has an uphill battle to fight through the court system in Bell County.

We've spent the last six weeks bringing international attention to George's case,

and putting pressure on the present-day prosecutors to finally write this terrible injustice.

In today's finale episode, we're going to hear directly from Michael Ware.

Mike's going to explain why he asked for the help of the Truth and Justice Army and give us all

of the behind-the-scenes information that led him to believe that George Powell is actually innocent.
