Hello everyone and

welcome to the focus group podcast I'm Sarah Longwell publisher of the bulwark and this week there's

one number that I've been thinking about a lot as it relates to the number of

Republicans who are unwilling to vote for

Donald Trump in November. That number is 30%. You've heard me talk about it on a

number of pods because that is roughly the percentage of Republicans who don't believe

the election was stolen and

nicky haly was hovering around that mark in a lot of the primary contests

before she dropped out of the race too also tends to be the number that you see of

Republicans who say that Donald Trump being convicted of a felony

will make a difference in how they'll vote and so I think that number is really

indicative of something. Now as we're going to discuss today some of these 30%ers are more getable than others when it comes to not voting for Trump in November.

Some of them have already voted for Joe Biden and are going to do so again.

Some of them are former Trump voters

who believe he should never hold office again,

and others are going to go back to Trump

and the team overall come November.

So we're gonna compare and contrast those a bit. My
