Welcome back to this week's off the bench podcast from the Premier League. I'm FPL Harry.

0:20.6

Hello Harry and Ann Press.

0:22.5

So this is the final international break of the season. But before we go and have a look at World

0:27.8

Cup qualifiers and we look at the FA Cup the following weekend, we do need to talk about blank

0:32.8

game week 31. Our first blank of the season, it was also, of course, a blank game week because

0:37.1

of the League Cup final. So, of course, a blank game week because of the

0:37.6

League Cup final. So congratulations to any Manchester City fans listening to this on your

0:42.6

productive weekend. And I'm sure there are some fans of other clubs, particularly Chelsea like

0:46.3

myself, who are not feeling quite as positive this morning as maybe you are. But we're here to

0:50.8

talk about FPL. And it was the blank for Manchester City and Arsenal alongside

0:54.3

Wolves and Crystal Palace, Praz. How did it go for you? It was a funny week, really. I mean, I feel actually quite satisfied at the end of it, even though I only got 52 points, which wasn't great. It was a small red arrow. But what I felt was any player that I was looking to buy this week, you know, I was thinking of getting Malik Chow. I was thinking of getting Jared Bowen. They didn't do much either. So it was a bit like saving my transfers worked out. Of course, when I talk about my own team, James Hill getting an own goal wasn't ideal. Dango getting this knock, which we didn't know about, wasn't ideal at all. Ekeke walking off after six minutes wasn't ideal. So not great, but I think I feel okay after the week.

1:33.0

How was yours? Yeah, so mine I suppose was, sorry, I got 65 this week, which was enough for a green

1:37.7

arrow. But basically the only real differences, instead of those sort of noughts and minus ones,

1:42.7

I got sort of threes, fours and fives, which is nothing particularly exciting, but in a week where there are sort of players being benched or low performers having, you know, an Anderson or Anderson of Fullum getting four and five this week, it adds up enough. So pretty happy with it. And just like you, I rolled my transfer this week. The player that I would have liked, and I'm sure we'll talk about later on, is Anthony Gordon, who I think started to look pretty good for Newcast, despite them losing to Sunderland again this weekend. We'll talk about that later on, but pretty happy with it. We've mentioned a few Manchi United players, and I think that's probably a good place to start. Brina Fernandez was the most captain player going into Game Week 31,

2:18.7

and he came away with a goal and an assist and route to points is something we talk about a lot,

2:22.9

and he absolutely showed that. But actually, all the ownership in this game, which was quite

2:27.3

high with Likes and Burmo, Seneci, Tavenir, James Hill, no one really came away with anything

2:33.2

from an FPL point of view. It was only

2:34.7

really Bruno, but he did start the game week off well, despite the fear of captaining a player

2:39.0

in the first kickoff. Yeah, I never get that fear of captaining the early kickoff. But yeah,

2:43.6

it was a nice, nice start to the game week. And Bruno delivering yet again, I mean, there was

2:48.8

some discussion on his away form versus home form and Bonnmuth's home form themselves indefensively, but I didn't feel like that. I mean, I just thought he's the best captain in a week where, you know, Manciti and Arsenal options weren't available to us. So he showed with the penalty and a corner assist that root two points really matter in FPL. But talking about some of the other picks you mentioned.
