In this episode Kerry and Dr. Andrew Skinner explore one of the most significant sections of the Doctrine and Covenants. They look at how the revelation on the priesthood was based in some specific historical happenings, and at how it begins with instructions about the temple and how the priesthood fits into temple restoration. They look at the role of priesthood in seeing God, in being renewed, and a host of other ways it affects our lives. They discuss how this applies to men and women. They outline the oath and covenant of the priesthood, and how it applies to men and women. They discuss the role of the Book of Mormon. They talk about theosis, or the process of becoming godly or Christlike.

1:12.0	We talked about the great blessing it is to obtain the priesthood.
1:21.0	And the fact that we not only are made holy, our spirits are sanctified, but also our physical bodies are renewed.
1:32.6	I think of a great example of what happens when we live by every word that precedeth forth from the mouth of God
1:41.8	and the blessing, this blessing of having our physical
1:46.9	bodies renewed. Look at the three Nephites in the book of Mormon. And I have here the words
1:59.6	of Third Nephi 28 versus 36 through 39.
