And I'm so glad to be joined with in the studio today with Michelle Buchanan. How are you? I'm good. Thanks, Will. Let's go. I'm excited, but before we get into James, I just want to hear Michelle, how long have you been a member at Watermark? Where have you served over the years? Just tell us a little bit about yourself,
0:37.9	and then we'll dive in. Okay. Actually, my husband and I have been here for 25 years at Watermark,
0:44.1	pretty much since the beginning. And we've mostly served in the marriage ministry, led several
0:49.5	foundation groups, and been with couples on their two-on-two right before they get married, make sure they're
0:57.3	really ready. And then we just now are getting to lead a re-engage group, which is so fun.
1:03.8	We're loving that. That's so amazing. How many foundation groups have y'all led?
1:07.1	Six foundation groups. That's awesome. I've been've been really encouraged i know i don't know you and
1:12.1	scott well but i know people who know you well that were in your foundation groups and they just
1:17.2	everyone has spoken so highly of you and so i know they all have encouraged so many couples here at
1:22.6	water market that's very kind it's blessed us a lot and we we love those people. They become like our family.
1:28.5	100%. That's awesome. So the book of James today, I hope if you're listening that you have read the whole book today, because me and Michelle are not going to get to cover all that James does offer us today in the next 10 minutes.
1:41.1	But we're going to get to cover a little bit. And so, Michelle, why don't you give us just a one-minute overview of the book of James?
1:46.7	And then I have a couple other questions that get more specific with the passage.
1:50.3	Okay, sounds good.
1:51.4	So James was the brother of Jesus.
1:53.9	He's mentioned a couple of times in the Gospels.
1:56.5	But at that time, he misunderstood Jesus' ministry, and so he was not a believer.
2:02.1	John 7.5 says, for not even his brothers believed in him, meaning they didn't believe in Jesus.
2:09.5	But 1 Corinthians 5-7 tells us that James was a witness to Jesus' resurrection.
