0:17.4	I'm filling in for Emma today as we cover Romans 12 through 14. If you've been tracking
0:22.6	along thus far with us in Romans, you would know that our friend Paul has illuminated an unavoidable
0:28.0	human condition that ends in death. Highlighting in Romans chapter 1 through 3, a universal problem,
0:34.3	sin. Thankfully, he doesn't leave us there. In Romans 4 through 8, he unpacks an
0:39.0	unfallible solution, salvation. Christ alone by grace alone through faith alone. In Romans 9 through
0:45.9	11, Paul unpacked some nuances, God's sovereignty and supplication regarding Israel and
0:51.1	the future of God's people, bringing us to where we are today. A big old
0:55.6	therefore. What do we do when we see a therefore? Well, we ask what's it there for? And imagine
1:02.5	with me for a second. Let's assume you've never read nor heard more than what I've just shared.
1:08.5	You hear for the first time that you are plagued with sin and you are
1:11.7	not only going to die, but you are currently lifeless, homeless, hopeless, and purposeless. But you hear that
1:18.9	you can be saved by grace through faith in Jesus' life and work alone and are free to live here and now
1:24.9	as adopted child to the forever reigning king. What would your
1:28.6	therefore be? Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer
1:35.2	your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. This is your true and proper worship.
1:42.0	Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
1:45.8	renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good,
1:51.9	pleasing, and perfect will. For those who are in Christ, by virtue of saving faith, the only
