Katie Schmanski and I am the director of women's community here at Watermark. I'm subbing in for

Emma in the studio today as we cover Luke 7 through 8. I'm in the studio today with the lovely and

faithful Watermark member, Emily Stence.

Thanks for having me. We're so glad you're here. And this is actually extra special and fun for me.

Emily and I go way back. I mean, what, five, six years now probably? I was Emily's community

director and she's been the faithful leader of her community group all those years through lots of transitions, and it's just been a delight to get to serve with you in that way. And it's so fun that now we get to do this podcast together. But Emily was also today's devote writer. So be sure to check that out and read that as well. So Emily, would you mind telling us a little

bit about your story, how you came to know Jesus, and how you came to Watermark? Yeah. So I grew up in a

home with two parents who loved Jesus and taught me about him from a young age. And I truly believe that my faith was genuine and understood

the gospel at its basics at that age. But a lot of my growth came later, late college and after.
