Today, we are reading Matthew 5 through 7, Sermon on the Mount, and I am in the podcast studio with faithful Watermark South Dallas member, Jacob Erington.
0:21.5	How is everyone doing? I'm so happy to be here. Thanks for having me.
0:24.5	You're so welcome, Jacob. I'm glad you said yes. You made the drive.
0:28.9	For those who don't know you, what has God done in your life? How'd you come to know him?
0:32.8	And what are you up to today?
0:34.3	I grew up in a very small town north of Frisco.
0:38.3	Loved it.
0:39.3	Wouldn't have it any other way.
0:40.3	Love growing up in a small town.
0:42.3	I grew up going to church.
0:44.3	I'd say it was truly saved, accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior at a very young age.
0:49.3	And then it was, man, high school, college.
0:53.3	It was really struggling to yield to his authority
0:57.0	over my life, to his lordship over my life, battled that for a while. And then I would say I started
1:03.8	to see a relationship with God more through, in a knowing God in a factual sense. And so I'd equated to reading a biography of someone
1:13.7	and saying that you know that person.
1:16.4	And you know a lot of facts about their life.
1:18.4	But that's not the kind of God we serve and we worship.
1:21.0	It's a relational God.
1:23.1	And so this is where I'd say, man,
1:25.7	super grateful for just the faithful members and followers of the
1:30.0	Watermarked Church. Because I think coming here many years ago is where I really saw, man,
