0:24.0	Yeah, thanks for having me again.
0:25.2	I'm a family medicine physician in Garland here just outside of Dallas.
0:28.8	I have been at Watermark, Dallas since 2020, have served in great questions, serve in Watermark Health,

0:38.6	international missions team here at Watermark. I love it. I love it. If any of those areas of service interest you, we'll put the links in the episode description. But we got to talk about Zechariah. Let's do it. Why don't you just set up today's chapters? What are we looking at? So God's people are now returning from exile,
0:55.2	and it's time to figure out what is life like now. They've been through a lot of traumatic experiences,
1:01.2	and they are now finding out what life looks like, what their new practices should be, what they
1:05.9	should prioritize, and how they're going to start rebuilding not just their lives and families,
1:15.2	but also God's temple and how they're going to worship, basically have a new start.
1:26.5	And so the Zechariah 6 through 10, we're going to have passages that focus on prophecy, passages about calls for justice and mercy,
1:31.1	God's future peace for Israel, and then his judgment on their enemies.
1:38.5	Where chapter six starts is we're kind of wrapping up these eight visions that Zechariah is given by God.
1:47.4	And this eighth vision is about highlighting God's promise for peace as the rest of these 70 years of exile are coming to a close. The question remains, though, for these people, now that we're back, is the messianic
1:52.8	kingdom coming? What's the timing of it? And is that something that's imminent? So that gets into
1:58.7	some of the important prophecies that we're going to get into today.
2:02.0	I love it. So I've got some specific questions for you. You came ready for these.
