You've written devotionals for Join the Journey maybe three or four times. Yes. And it's your first time on the podcast. Dun, dun, done. No, I'm so glad you're here. It's a happy thing. And would you share just a little bit about what God has done in your life and then what you're up to today? |

| 0:40.5 | Just a quick little background on me. I was born in Brazil and I moved to the States when I was five. |
| 0:45.8 | Okay. My dad was a Hispanic Baptist minister, so he's practically a missionary to the States from Brazil. |

| 1:09.8 | church during a revival. And it was very real to me, even at that young age. |
| 1:16.8 | So I had an amazing family that raised me and being part of the church was amazing. Fast forward through life, I, you know, graduated high school, went to Baylor and studied math, Spanish there with an ESL |
| 1:30.1 | teaching certificate. But I didn't do that right out of college. It became a flight attendant. |
| 1:34.7 | And so that is when my faith really became real to me. |
| 1:38.8 | Why is that? |
| 1:40.0 | Because you're in a city surrounded with millions of people, and this is my first time away, like, out of my comfort zone, not in a Christian bubble, not surrounded my parents or Christians. |
| 1:50.9 | And it was just everything was different. And so it was very lonely, even though you're surrounded by millions of people. |
