Today, we are reading Second Chronicles 6 through 9, and it's a Tuesday, which means the porch is gathering tonight.

And I am in the podcast studio with faithful watermark member and porch staff team member, Noah Schatz.

It's going to be a great time. It is. Noah, welcome back. You've been on the podcast before.

But for those who don't know, what is the porch? What do you see God doing there?

Yeah, gosh, the porch. We meet every Tuesday night here at Watermark. It is a gathering of young adults.

But more than that, what we're like seeing God doing, there's just been this sense of like, his spirit is like just in that room.

And it feels like every night we see young adult coming to know Christ for the first time.

People who thought they knew them or had some sense or idea of them are repenting, confessing. And then

more recently, we just got done with this, it's this like discipleship initiative. Cool.

Where we actually had young adults go through kind of like this 10 weeks of, hey, what is being a

disciple of Jesus look like? And then at the end of that 10 weeks we paired them

with a disciple maker so someone who's gonna disciple them in the way of Christ and

so now we've kind of unleashed those groups and they're meeting it's not it's

this it's really cool because it's not this like curriculum right it's like a

workbook or yeah it's not it's like it's it's really curriculum thing. It's like a workbook or something. Yeah,

it's not. It's like it's really oriented in life on life and a lot of it is based on the

practices that we see Jesus, how he led his disciples. And so we're really excited about what God is

doing. And every day we're getting like stories and stories and stories of how the Lord is using
