0:40.6	Paul's letter to Philemon is quite different from other letters we've read, right?
0:45.2	This letter isn't written to correct a church. It's not written primarily for encouragement.
0:51.2	Paul isn't instructing a pastor. Paul writes for personal matters.
0:55.3	Though Philemon is different in tone and content, its contribution to the canon of
1:01.2	scripture cannot be understated.
1:03.2	Philemon teaches us how our faith should move us to treat others
1:07.4	as Christ has treated us.
1:09.6	Philemon models how our identity as a child of God and as a brother and sister in Christ surpasses
1:16.1	a whole other cultural identities we may have. Paul's letter to Philemon, like all of Scripture,
1:22.4	was inspired by God and is profitable for us today.
