Welcome back to a year in the Bible with Daily Grace. My name is Kristen Schmucker and I am so excited to be here with you. We are working our way through the entire New Testament today. We are in Matthew 9.

We are 9 chapters into the book of Matthew and we are just moving right along and I am learning

Most of all I have just been left in awe of Jesus and today's chapters are no different.

We mentioned yesterday that Matthew 8 and 9 have lots of miracles, so we are continuing

to see all different kinds of miracles today.

All of it is meant to show us who Jesus is.

As soon as Jesus gets off the boat, we see that there is a paralyzed man

brought to Jesus by some of his friends. I love that this man's friend bring him to Jesus.

I am sure this man was grateful for the rest of his life to those

friends. But when the religious leaders see what Jesus is doing, they are not

happy. Did you catch in verse four that it says that Jesus knew or perceived
