0:28.0	Welcome back to a year in the Bible with Daily Grace. My name is Kristen Schmucker and I am so excited to be here with you. We are working our way through the entire New Testament today. We are in Matthew 9.
0:36.1	We are 9 chapters into the book of Matthew and we are just moving right along and I am learning
0:41.8	so much and I hope that you are too.
0:44.4	Most of all I have just been left in awe of Jesus and today's chapters are no different.

0:59.9	We mentioned yesterday that Matthew 8 and 9 have lots of miracles, so we are continuing
1:05.2	to see all different kinds of miracles today.
1:08.5	All of it is meant to show us who Jesus is.
1:11.6	As soon as Jesus gets off the boat, we see that there is a paralyzed man
1:16.1	brought to Jesus by some of his friends. I love that this man's friend bring him to Jesus.
1:22.3	I am sure this man was grateful for the rest of his life to those
1:25.5	friends. But when the religious leaders see what Jesus is doing, they are not
1:30.1	happy. Did you catch in verse four that it says that Jesus knew or perceived
1:34.6	their thoughts? Can you imagine what it was like for Jesus to answer the
1:38.8	questions that they were just thinking about the
1:45.0	the authority that he has.
