0:28.9	Welcome back to a year in the Bible with daily grace. My name is Christensbucker and we are in Luke 17. We have completed 12 weeks in the New Testament and I am so grateful for every chapter that we have studied together.

0:54.2	Jesus specifically speaks of those who cause little ones to stumble.

1:01.0	though it could also be interpreted as the spiritually young or the marginalized.
1:06.0	Jesus tells the disciples to pay attention to their hearts, to stay on guard and address the
1:11.6	sin in their lives and to forgive others.
1:14.8	It is interesting that the response of the apostles is to ask Jesus to increase their faith.
1:21.2	What they realize and what we need to be reminded of is that it takes faith to live in the way that he has called them to live.
1:30.0	Jesus responds to their request by saying that faith the size of a mustard seed could uproot a mulberry tree.
1:37.0	Some mulberry trees grow for approximately 600 years, so they were very deeply rooted trees.
1:45.0	Yet Jesus says that all that is needed to uproot such a tree is faith as small as the
1:50.4	tiniest seed.
1:52.0	Jesus is showing us that it isn't about the greatness of our
1:55.4	faith, but about the greatness of the one that our faith is in. Jesus is
2:00.3	calling us to follow him and trust him in every moment of our lives.
