word and immediately sigh? Is it something you feel like you need more of? Maybe something you're tired of hearing about? Rest is a word that is popping

up left and right inner culture today. Something I don't think is coincidental. Culture is beginning to see the ripple effects of what happens when we don't get rest.

Stress, anxiety, insecurity, confusion, chaos, and more.

Our world is recognizing their need for rest because there's a lack of it.

But unfortunately, the rest they are promoting

all day,

television all day or scrolling social media.

But this rest that the world is trying to give

is one that is counterfeit

One that doesn't truly work, but there's good news. There's a promise of rest that's been gifted to us from Jesus. A true rest, a rest that he is inviting us to

enter into with him. Hebrews four begins with this promised rest.
