On November 22nd, Royce received a phone call from a Miss Judy Gonzales, affectionately

known by her family, as Aunt Mama Judy.

Gonzales stated that on the day of the murder, she saw three black males and one white male,

dragging Kiyow from a white and gray Camaro Z28.

Both Judy and Jessie swore out affidavits for Royce.

We don't have a copy of Judy's affidavit.

Sadly she passed away before the trial, so her affidavit was never admitted.

Royce spent the better part of two years attempting to expand on the information that these

two gave him.

We also find out that Jessie James Swindell's mother did in fact confirm to Royce that Jessie

had told her about the incident on the day it occurred.

She told Royce that she had advised Judy to call the police, and she has no idea why

she waited so long to do so.

In one of Royce's notes dated December 4th, 1991, he says quote,

it is believed by this detective that Miss Gonzales did witness this offense.

The only thing necessary for evil to prevail is that good men and women do nothing.

I am simply a mouthpiece for good men and women around the world who want to make a difference.

The engagement and the involvement of ordinary people is what is going to change our criminal

justice system.
