Hi, Jack. Some good. I'm, you know, I'm okay. I was a little hungover yesterday because what else is there to do? And I'm feeling a little better today. You know, it was one of those high hangovers where you look up and it's like six o'clock and you're like, where the fuck did the day go?

But I went to bed early. My new mattress is like really killing it. So I'm feeling I'm feeling sprightly for this Monday morning. Those are the best kinds of hangovers though, because they're not suffering through the whole day if you're just wondering where it went.

That's true. Um, I'm like, when you sleep so late, take a nap and go to bed early. Like I think that's the perfect formula.

Yeah, of course, when you just spend the entire hangover sleeping. Yeah.

Nice. Well, it was a busy crazy weekend, honestly. It was half great, half not great. Half crazy.

Half crazy. So something that we wanted to talk about today because a lot of people have probably seen all the group drama toast, McGettin.

On Saturday, it was my husband's 30th birthday and we found a way to get the family together in a private space that was in accordance with all of the guidelines that we have been given up until this point in quarantine.

And then late Saturday night Sunday, it just toast, McGettin descended.

Everyone is so upset with us for organizing in this way and posting about it.

And we want to come on here and address pretty much every single

mean thing or just concerning thing that people have said about what we did because we did not feel like we were doing anything wrong, which is why I posted a photo.

I know Ben posted a photo. We weren't doing it to be like, fuck quarantine.

If I thought we were doing something wrong, I would never have posted a photo.

And if I thought we were doing something wrong and not taking it seriously, we wouldn't have been doing it.

If we thought we were just like had no regard, like we would be in our studio every day.

Right. Right. So I just want to kind of take you through like what led us to Saturday and why we decided to get together and where we got together and all of the context behind it.

Because maybe if you just see a photo that we posted, you think that we're just, you know,

sure, checking all of the rules. But if you listen to this show, you know that we've taken coronavirus seriously since January.

We've taken quarantine extremely seriously since March 13th.

We've been like insisting and trying to get everyone to stay home and find fun ways for you guys to stay home and engage with us and give you movies and give you shows to watch.

And like this is all we do is be in quarantine that we leave our apartments when we need essentials and maybe go out for fresh air once every three days.
