case page. For this episode, we're going back to early 1979. On January 12th, 1979, one of the

serial killers known as the Hillside Stranglers, Kenneth Bianchi, was arrested in Bellingham, Washington.

Between October, 1977 and February, 1978, Bianchi and his cousin, Angelo Bono, raped and murdered at least 10 young women and girls in the Los Angeles, California area.

Bianchi murdered two other women in early 1979 in Bellingham, which led to his

arrest. Bianchi was ultimately sentenced to life in prison with a chance of parole. Angela Bono was

sentenced to life without the chance of parole. Bono died in prison in 2002. Bianchi is currently

serving a sentence at the Washington State Penitentiary, Walla Wall of Washington.
