I'm Dr. Lisa Pressman, and today I'm joined by my dear friend and colleague, Dr. Tina

Payne Bryson.

She is the co-author of some of the most incredible parenting books out there, including the whole

brainchild, no drama discipline, the yes brain, and the power of showing up, which she wrote

with Dr. Dan Siegel, as well as the book, Bottom Line for Baby.

So we watched the season finale of Succession, and of course, we couldn't not talk about it.

But here's the thing.

You do not need to have watched Succession to get something out of this conversation,

because we're just using it as a fun way to talk more about how our relationships get shaped,

how we can connect when we were not given proper modeling and support in our early experiences,

what it looks like to repair and all sorts of things.

So this is about early experiences shaping adult relationships and how those relationships play out,

but it is so fascinating and such a great opportunity for us to have low investment in people

who are not close to us to really unpack hard conversations and deep ideas.

And it's really fun.
