and I'm so excited to just be able to talk with you a bit today. How are you feeling?

Good. I'm really looking forward to this.

I feel like it's been forever since we've gotten to talk.

Yeah. Yeah. It is kind of wild. It's been like over a year and a half since our first interview.

And now here we are sort of at the end of it all, which is amazing.

I'm Aileen Lance Lesser. Thank you. So what's it been like to hear your story in full now, out in the world?

I have been telling people it's such a different experience hearing it being told,

even though I'm the one telling it, and even though I lived it, and I've told the story so many

times, it's a different experience hearing it. There's been moments when I've been really

sad for that girl. There's moments when I'm so been really sad for that girl.

There's moments when I'm so proud of her for her courage and bravery.
