I've had several calls with William Hooper, but each time I just hit a wall, he's unwilling

to give me any details about the murders.

Not the gruesome stuff you know, but specific details that only the killer would know.

What was the weather like that day?

What were they wearing?

What was the last thing he told his victims?

It's almost like he wasn't there at all.

We wanted to have one last call with Wild Bill, but this time, we planned to agitate

him a little bit just to see if we could get a different response.

Here's one of the brainstorming calls John and I had about my conversation with Wild Bill.

Okay, so here's what I don't understand about this because I'm thinking, well, there's

five dead people, we know that for sure, six, actually, and why would he make that up?

Why would anybody take credit for that and spend it in jail?

Okay, let's go with the premise that there's somebody else involved with danger.

I don't know who this person is, but let's just go with the premise that he was dealing

with somebody else, who's dangerous, who's connected, whatever, okay?

And so they did this together.

This other guy did it while Bill was the one who provided the boat and got the people

to come to him, whatever it is, I don't know if it's an area.

Bill goes down, he's going down, he's going to prison for 35 years no matter what.

He has no benefit given that person up who may come and kill him.

So he's just going to take the fall, plus he's getting all this fame and notoriety.
