Like I said, I have daughters and so I was very aware as they were getting into junior

high and high school that these kind of things happen.

I think a lot of times we want to put our head in the sand and you know these true crime

stories that you read about or listen to, that happens to other people in other places.

And I knew that wasn't true and they probably thought I was absolutely crazy and I said,

wait, you wait till you have your own and then we'll talk.

On today's episode of Strictly Stalking, we're chatting with Laurie Morrison, a private

investigator and true crime podcast host.

While attending high school, Laurie received calls from a classmate who is pretending to

be another student.

We eventually decided to meet but her classmate didn't show.

A week later, Laurie's friends discovered the classmate that was behind the calls was

attacking a janitor with a wrench while they were at the school.

After that encounter, Laurie sought out ways to help other victims.

She became a private investigator to help others in similar situations.

As the host of the Unlovely Truth, Laurie creates compelling true crime stories and helps
