One of the things that I've been recently doing in my own personal scripture study is trying to slow down and just think about the individuals who are involved.

So I love what you just said, like, maybe Ammon was married.

We don't know.

But I think it's worth, like, pausing and, like, just imagining that you're Ammon.

Like, because we know the story.

And so we just brush right by.

In this episode, John Hilton and I discuss a number of principles that we learn from Amman

and his brethren that can apply to missionary work in all its forms, including how we teach

our families or work with families or other loved ones who may not be responding the way we hope or living the way we hope

or making choices we hope. We talk about things like what happens when inspiration doesn't seem to go

the way we think it will go or what happens when we consecrate our sins to God. That was an

interesting and surprising discussion for me or how we can learn from others

and boldness but following the spirit and a number of things. This is one of the more organic

conversations that I've had on the podcast, and we've had a lot of wonderful ones, and I really

enjoyed it. I think you will too.
