0:17.0	Hello, everybody. How are you today? This is Nicole, and you have reached my podcast, The Cure for Chronic Pain.

0:22.0	I've got so much on my mind to share with you
0:26.2	today and so I'm trying to get my thoughts together as I jump on the microphone.
0:31.7	First thing I want to say is I am just rolling in, only been home for a couple
0:36.4	days from the P. P. P. D. A. Association Conference in Boulder, Colorado. So for those of you who've never heard of PPD,
0:45.0	it stands for psycho physiologic disorders.
0:50.0	And so essentially, when you guys hear me talk about that kind of acronym usually you're hearing
0:56.8	TMS which is Dr. Sarno's umbrella under which all of these conditions reside, all of these chronic conditions that we work with here together as a community.
1:08.0	A bunch of years back, I think around 2010, an awesome doctor named Dr David Clark founded the P. P. P. P. P. D. A.
1:17.0	which is another acronym for TMS. P. P. P. P. D. M and TMS are completely synonymous. It's just that you know as we walk this
1:27.7	earth and as we try to help spread the word, educate people, teach, speak.
1:34.0	People are always trying to come up with an easier and sort of more
1:38.0	understandable way for people to understand what's going on in their body.
1:42.0	And so PPD kind of was born out of time. to understand what's going on in their body.
1:42.6	And so PPD kind of was born out of that.
1:45.6	And names are always evolving,
1:47.7	but the only reason I'm explaining it to you
1:49.5	is I want you to know the conference I was at,
1:51.8	which drew doctors and therapists and PhD researchers
