I think everyone has a bit of a fascination with the dark side.

I myself have always loved the dark side as well. I think it's something that everyone

secretly longs for in the moment.

Tapes from the dark side contains descriptions of violence and sexuality. Listener discretion is advised. What drives a man to kill?

Is it passion, vengeance, greed, or some combination thereof?

Though it's another question entirely to ask what drives a man to kill his entire family.

An act so shocking that even to those familiar with the morbid side of human nature, it is still

nearly incomprehensible. Familicide is a type of murder that is often accompanied by suicide,

in which a perpetrator takes the lives of two or more close family members. When a perpetrator murders all members of their family.

Then, and usually only then, is the crime referred to as family annihilation.

These events statistically are extremely rare. Most often, the annihilators' family role is that of father, sometimes mother, and sometimes even child.

But in the case of Don's spirit, the annihilator was actually a grandfather.

And so if familicide is rare, then familicide by grandparent is the rarest of the rare.
