| 1:09.2 | Lord and Savior. Christ's kingdom is growing. What Jesus started in his life was |
| 1:16.2 | continuing to build and strengthen. Jesus is still working. In yesterday's |
| 1:22.3 | chapter Luke celebrates the unity and generosity of the church and introduces |
| 1:27.2 | us to Barnumas, a man from Cyprus who sold a field he owned and brought money before the disciples and laid it at the |
| 1:34.9 | apostle's feet. He is called the son of encouragement and we will read more |
| 1:39.6 | about him as we study acts. This account of Barnabas is greatly contrasted with the |
| 1:45.0 | beginning of acts five when Anannius and Sophia disturbed the unity of the |
| 1:49.8 | early church's generosity by lying about what they were giving. |
