0:22.0	Hello friends it's another great day of studying the New Testament together on a year in the Bible

0:29.0	My name is Katie, and it's my joy to be a co-host on this journey with you through scripture.
0:34.1	We are currently in acts and friends.
0:36.4	After today, we only have three chapters left in the study of the early church.
0:42.1	I think this study through the
0:43.4	the Gospels this year and now acts has set us up so well to read the epistles in
0:48.3	coming months. But for now let's take a look at acts 25.
0:52.8	On first glance this chapter may seem a bit dry, but if we dig a little deeper, this
0:57.4	chapter is like part two of a three-part movie series.
1:01.3	Where part two isn't the most exciting movie, but it holds key information about
1:06.4	understanding the trilogy of a whole.
1:09.6	Why is it important?
1:10.6	Well, we'll get to that. First we have a lot of names at play in this chapter.
1:15.0	Paul, of course, Festus, King Agrippa, King Agrippa's sister named Bernice.
1:21.0	Let's do something a little different and go through each of these
1:24.4	names to better understand the chapter as a whole. Let's catch up on Paul. We know him dearly.
1:29.7	He's the Pharisee, the persecutor of Christians, turned bold missionary who suffered repeatedly because of his faithfulness
