0:29.0	Hey, welcome back to another day on a year in the Bible with Daily Grace. My name is Katie and I'm one of your co-host as we journey through the New Testament together this year.
0:35.1	We are currently in the Book of Acts and today we are in Acts 23.
0:39.7	As always we are tracking alongside the Behold study set or the free reading plan linked in the show notes.
0:46.5	To start, we are actually going to pick up at the very end of chapter 22.
0:51.3	Yesterday, Paul shared his testimony with the Jewish crowd who beat him.
0:56.0	But they were so angry at him for not enforcing Jewish traditions on the new
1:00.9	Gentile Christian converts, that they didn't even let him finish his speech.
1:05.9	Thankfully, Paul is rescued by a Roman officer who ceases Paul from the angry crowd.
1:11.4	At the end of Acts 22, Paul faces the Sanhedron
1:15.1	so that the Romans can gather more information
1:17.8	about exactly what Paul did wrong.
1:20.4	This is where acts 23 begins.
