Summary

Today we’re looking at a Psalm of lament. It’s only 6 verses long! As Watermark Institute student Hannah and Watermark High School Student, Noah Self show us, God can use broken, imperfect people to accomplish His purposes! And when we’re clouded by fear, we can lose sight of who God is; but, God never truly leaves us. In today’s episode, Noah and Hannah talk all things Psalm 13.

0:48.3	little bit about you. I already have like the spoiler alert because we talked beforehand about some
0:52.5	fun extracurriculars, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. So we got to hear about you first. So tell us a little bit about your walk with Jesus.
0:57.8	How did you come to know God and where are you at in your walk with him today? Hi, I'm Noah's self. I have a new life
1:02.5	in Christ and I'm recovering from control, lust, and anxiety. I've always grown up in the church, my parents really helped me grow a relationship with Jesus from a young age.
1:12.9	But the problem is this led to me being set apart.
1:16.5	Well, that's a good thing, but this label and reputation that I had as a Christian is something
1:23.1	I began to idolize.
1:25.8	This is the start of my main struggles, which as I entered
1:30.3	like junior high and football and all of that, I still had this reputation, but I kind of wanted
1:35.9	more. I wanted, I saw other people living differently and they looked like they were having
1:40.3	more fun than me and all of that. So I was like, I don't know, I want to, I'm going to switch it up a little bit.
1:46.5	But I didn't fully engage in all of that.
