Summary

In Job 29, Job is looking back and remembering his life before all these hard things happened. Sometimes, this is something that we can also do. However, something we see throughout Scripture is that suffering and hardships are what lead to intimate friendship with God. Emma Dotter and faithful Watermark Member Emily Hill unpack these truths and more in today’s Join the Journey Podcast.

 Additional Scripture in this Podcast:
Jeremiah 17:7-8, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream,”
James 1:2-4, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds…”
Lamentations 3, You get to see the feeling of God not being there, but the reality that God is there.
