Who’s in charge here? As it turns out, the way the right and left hemispheres of the brain work says a lot about how we answer that question. Be assured, that’ a question we need to answer — whether we know it or not. Listen in as Pepper and Curt introduce the horizontal domain of the mind, and why, as it turns out, it really is important for the right hand to know what the left hand is doing.

talking about the horizontal domain. Kurt when I think about sort of this left

brain right brain thing you know the first thing that comes to mind is, do you remember those MAC commercials from like the 2000, early 2000s, maybe 19, maybe the late 90s where it was two guys in a white room and one guys like a cool you know hip kind of guy

he's standing there and the other guys a complete computer nerd with his pocket projection ring.

He's like, you know, the cool guy's like,

I'm Mac, the other guys have, you know, I'm PC, right?

And so I kind of had this feeling of, you know, the right brain is this sort of, you know,

Mac kind of thing, right?

And the left brain is more of a PC.

And then you see these illustrations everywhere where the right brain is just got colors shooting out in every direction and the left brain is like a piece of concrete.

It's like just gray. You know, so let's talk about, you know, as we start today, let's talk about the differences between the right and left brain and maybe how they're similar.

Yeah. Well, I think, Pep, one of the things that is a pretty common misconception is that the right and the left
