Friends, welcome to the Pints with Jack weekly podcast, where David and I have the distinct

privilege of enjoying a drink together, unpacking the writings of C.S. Lewis and discovering

the truth and beauty of Christianity. We are currently in season two in unlocking the treasures

hidden within our favorite C.S. Lewis work, The Great Divorce. My name is Matt, and as always,

I am joined by my co-host and friend, David, whom I'm very grateful for being

able to complete another incredible journey with him as we reflect on our time going through

the Great Divorce today.

Yeah, there is something really nice when we reached the end point of any book.

It's that wonderful sense of satisfaction.

And I feel like it's probably a bit

more for you than me, since you have to put in about three times the work every week that I have to put in.

I'll probably say four or five, but sure. But as we do, we're going to go through this retrospective.

These are my favorite episodes. They're a wonderful chance to recap what we've learned. They're also a great chance listeners to be able to send to

friends to share with the podcast because they can just, this is a good episode to send as a one-off.

And as we go through this, let's begin by just, I want to say, David, thank you for all your time,

your commitment, and what you do to make this possible.
