0:30.0	Today, we come to Zechariah, chapters 7-10, on our journey from Eden to Eternity.
0:37.0	Yesterday, we studied the eight visions the Lord gave Zechariah.
0:42.0	And today, we will study God's call to the exiles as they settle in the land.
0:48.0	We will also move into the second section of the book and begin the prophecies God's
0:53.0	book through Zechariah.
0:55.0	Woven throughout these passages is the promise of the Messiah.
1:00.0	God would fulfill each of his promises through the coming Savior, King, and Shepard.
1:06.0	As we begin with chapter 7, think back to yesterday when we mentioned the structure of the book.
1:13.0	Chapters 1-8 were written in the younger years of Zechariah's life.
1:19.0	His message in these chapters is meant to encourage the returned exiles
1:24.0	and spur them on in the rebuilding of the temple.
1:28.0	When Zechariah receives the word of the Lord in chapter 7,
1:32.0	it comes about two years after his visions in the fourth year of King Darius' reign.
