Today, we complete yet another book on our journey from Eden to eternity.

These final four chapters of Zechariah are filled prophecies that have found partial

fulfillment and fulfillment we still await.

As we walk through each prophecy today, we will be reminded that we rest secure in Christ.

No matter what or when, the events described here take place, those who know and follow Christ

will dwell secure in His presence forever.

As we begin with chapter 11, remember that we are in the second half of Zechariah, which

came about 30 to 40 years after the first half.

In these chapters, Zechariah shares prophetic proclamations on behalf of the Lord.

Yesterday, we ended our time by being reminded that God would restore His flock.

Now, in chapter 11, God addresses the issue of the bad shepherds of Israel.

Verses one through three share a fable of the coming destruction of these bad shepherds,
