0:39.2	At this point in the book, we are leaving behind God's judgment and wrath on the first generation,
0:44.8	and looking forward in hope as the second generation eagerly awaits entrance into the Promised
0:50.2	Land.
0:51.5	But the second generation still needed guidance in order to live in obedience to God and his
0:56.4	commands.
0:57.7	God wasn't done using Moses just yet, so let's take a look at numbers 28 through 30, and
1:03.3	see what God has for us to learn today.
1:06.8	At first glance, chapters 28 and 29 might seem like a repeat of Leviticus chapter 23 when
1:13.3	the various holy days were established, but in Leviticus 23, God defined when these
1:20.1	holy days would occur in the calendar year.
1:23.3	Here in numbers, we read about the details of the sacrifices for these days.
1:28.5	In other words, Leviticus gave us the lines, and in numbers, they get colored in.
1:34.2	We also want to note that these were the required public sacrifices.
