| 0:33.6 | Before we get to chapters 22 through 24, I do want to chat briefly about the sections of chapter 21 we didn't quite get to yesterday. |

| 1:43.2 | This is important for many reasons. First, Israel would conquer |
| 1:47.4 | the nations in that region, then they would need to cross the Jordan River during flood stage, |
| 1:54.1 | and then they would have to defeat fortified cities like Jericho. But God had already given them |
| 2:00.7 | great victories among their enemies, |
| 2:02.9 | and if there is one thing we will learn from the narrative of Balaam today, it is that nothing |
| 2:08.2 | can thwart God's plan or break his covenant to his people, not even a greedy prophet or a terrified |
