0:33.6	Today we come to Joshua, chapters 16 through 18, which in essence is part 2 from our chapters
0:41.4	yesterday.
0:42.8	The book of Joshua has moved from one of conquest to one of settlement and Joshua is
0:49.0	now allotting the land to the 12 tribes of Israel.
0:53.9	Yesterday, we read about the two and a half tribes that settled to the east of the Jordan
0:58.8	River, Caleb's land allotment in Hebron, and the land given to the tribe of Judah.
1:05.4	Today, the allotments continue and I want to remind you that it is definitely helpful
1:11.0	to have a map handy while reading these chapters.
1:14.3	Some of these places will be mentioned again as we work our way through the Bible.
1:19.0	As we dive into chapter 16, we move on from Judah's land and cities to Joseph's inheritance.
1:26.3	Take a moment to think back to Genesis 48 when Jacob had Joseph bring his two sons to

1:35.1	In this, Joseph received a double blessing as his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, each became
