Hey friends, welcome back to our journey from Eden to Eternity.

Tiffany here and today we continue our journey through Isaiah as we take a look at chapters

5 through 8.

Yesterday, we established our overarching themes of God's glory, holiness, and sovereignty.

We also talked about how the first 39 chapters of Isaiah will be filled with woe and judgment.

But, just like yesterday, we will see glimpses of the Messiah and the hope we have through

salvation.

Today, in particular, we will experience God's glory through Isaiah's own vision and

testimony and one verse in particular will prophesy the birth of our Savior.

As we move into chapter 5, which is filled with hard truths and judgments, we want to

hang on to the hope we read about in chapter 4 yesterday.

Chapter 5 stands as a warning for us not to follow in the footsteps of Judah.

The first seven verses are a sign of the vineyard.

We know from verse 7 that the vineyard is God's chosen people of Israel.

God had blessed them immensely and yet they continually turned their back on him.
