Summary

0:25.0	Hey friends, welcome back to our journey from Eden to Eternity.
0:30.2	Tiffany here and today we continue our journey through Isaiah as we take a look at chapters
0:35.4	5 through 8.
0:37.6	Yesterday, we established our overarching themes of God's glory, holiness, and sovereignty.
0:45.7	We also talked about how the first 39 chapters of Isaiah will be filled with woe and judgment.
0:53.5	But, just like yesterday, we will see glimpses of the Messiah and the hope we have through
0:58.9	salvation.
0:59.9	Today, in particular, we will experience God's glory through Isaiah's own vision and
1:05.6	testimony and one verse in particular will prophesy the birth of our Savior.
1:11.3	So let's get started.
1:14.6	As we move into chapter 5, which is filled with hard truths and judgments, we want to
1:19.5	hang on to the hope we read about in chapter 4 yesterday.
1:23.8	Chapter 5 stands as a warning for us not to follow in the footsteps of Judah.
1:29.7	The first seven verses are a sign of the vineyard.
1:33.8	We know from verse 7 that the vineyard is God's chosen people of Israel.
1:39.2	God had blessed them immensely and yet they continually turned their back on him.
